I grew up in Lebanon, Pennsylvania where I attended Lebanon Catholic High School.
I have been in the insurance industry for 30 years and have obtained my AAI, CIC and AFIS designations. I got my start with Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and that is when I discovered my passion for the insurance industry. In 1992, The Kathy Barry Agency was formed in Womelsdorf, PA, a small town on the outskirts of Reading. Since that time, we’ve moved and we’ve grown thanks to our wonderful customers. Today, our main office is along Route 422 in Robesonia, PA., plus locations in Douglassville and Jonestown. I absolutely enjoy getting to know my clients and working with them to develop a strong relationship.
Like my son Justin, I am also a nature lover at heart and we can be found hunting and fishing when we are away from the office. On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my granddaughter, often at our family cabin. I am actively involved with my church, Mary Gate of Heaven, in Myerstown. I’m the CCW President and active in the SummerFest. I also support local 4-H programs and the PA Friends Of Agriculture.
MoreI was born and raised in a small town in Lebanon County. In 2011, I graduated from Penn State University Smeal College of Business. I began my insurance career when I was 18 years old as a part-time job. I quickly moved up and I took on an ownership role at the agency in 2018. My favorite part of my job is making sure my clients have the coverage that they need to protect what they’ve worked their entire life for. I’ve fallen in love with the aspect of being a protector for my customers.
I am an outdoorsman at my core, it defines who I am and how I approach things. I love to spend the weekend walking around a nature trail or spending time by the lake. You can find me hunting, fishing, or working in my woodshop. A fun fact about me is that I spend a lot of time doing woodworking and have built much of the furniture in my home. My wife and I are volunteers for the PA German Shorthair Rescue. I also help with my church’s major fundraiser every year.
MoreI was born in Jersey City, New Jersey but grew up in Hoboken, NJ. However, I moved to Lancaster County, Pennslyvania at the age of 16 and this has been my home ever since. I have had the absolute pleasure of working in the insurance profession for over 20 years. The majority of my experience has been in personal lines and life lines. Working at the Kathy Barry Agency has provided me the opportunity to add commercial experience to my resume. I love working with a diverse clientele and developing relationships with them. It is not just about signatures and contracts for me, but I enjoy being in a position to help my clients secure competitive rates.
Personally, what I most enjoy is teaching children’s ministry at church, volunteering at women’s abused shelters, and volunteering at the boys and girls club. Giving back to the community is extremely important to me. Anyone that knows me knows that I absolutely enjoy decorating. I am constantly changing things around and improving areas around my house. Some would say I may be a bit obsessive about thrift store finds. I love taking what some may consider trash and making it a treasure. When I am not working, you can find me at home spending time with my family. My mother has lived with me for 6 years now and the majority of the time I am ensuring that I can continue to create special memories with her. My favorite way to spend a weekend is together with my kids, gathered around the table playing games, and then sharing a family
MoreGrowing up in a military family, I spent most of my youth moving around the world, but I spent the bulk of my life in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. My insurance career started as a customer service representative in 2005. I quickly became interested in sales and worked towards becoming a top agent in personal lines. In 2012, I started my own insurance agency providing personal and commercial insurance and I am now proud to be a multi-line Associate Agent at The Kathy Barry Insurance Agency. What I enjoy the most about my job is meeting new clients and being able to help protect the things that are important to them.
The top 3 things I enjoy the most are spending time with my family, hunting and fishing. When I’m not in the office, you can find me working around the house or in the mountains hunting and fishing. I truly enjoy the calm feeling that the great outdoors provides me.
MoreI was born in the beautiful Sunshine State of Florida in Miami. However, my parents relocated when I was young, so I basically grew up in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. I am a Lebanon School District graduate class of 2010. I am a people person and my favorite part of my job is interacting with my customers. It is always important to make sure your customers feel comfortable with you, so you can have a better understanding of their life and how to fit their needs.
I really enjoy spending time with my family, especially time with my daughters. I wouldn’t trade the moments I share with them for anything in the world! Family is everything to me. We like to do cookouts or family dinner nights when we have the chance just to have a thrill with the family.
My guilty pleasures are binge watching reality TV shows, unwinding to music, and feeding my cravings with sweets! My biggest talent and interest is baking! I wish I had more time to do so but once I do, I definitely hit the kitchen and start baking.
MoreI was born and raised in Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania. Since I am a staff support specialist, I am one of the first points of contact for a client. I help them with their billing and general questions. My favorite part of my job is having a one on one experience with a client and getting to know them so I can serve them better.
My free time is spent with my family and playing around with my affectionate grandchildren. My guilty pleasure is baking all things sweet! I love to experiment in the kitchen and have my family try out my new recipes. I also enjoy going for nature walks with my husband and our furry companion. I am also involved with my church and I help organize our annual fall fest.
MoreI was born & raised in Berks County, Pennsylvania where I have lived my whole life. Before entering the insurance industry, I obtained a BSBA in General Management from Shippensburg University. Now, I am licensed in Property & Casualty and have 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, and 16 of those years have been with the Kathy Barry Agency. Our incredible team feels like a second family to me! My favorite thing about my job is interacting with my customers and developing relationships with them. I hope to provide the guidance that they need to protect what is important to them.
Outside of work, I enjoy camping and spending time with my three daughters and husband. We enjoy setting up sweet campsites and barbequing under the night sky.
MoreI grew up in Newmanstown, Pennsylvania where I went to ELCO School District, and graduated from Penn State Harrisburg. I started in the insurance industry in 2003 as a fill in receptionist, and caught the insurance bug! I obtained my licensing in 2008, worked for an MGA specializing in Professional Liability and Environmental Liability before coming to Kathy Barry Agency in 2011. I primarily work with commercial customers and I love the challenge and reward of successfully finding proper coverage solutions for each unique client.
My three favorite things would have to be my family, dog and travelling. My guilty pleasure that a lot of people don’t know about is that I love to read mushy romance novels. I love spending weekends with my husband, son and dog at our family home away from home in Rock Hall, Maryland. My family is active with our church and community. It’s important to us to do our part to make it a better place.
MoreI was born and raised in good ol’ Berks county Pennsylvania. I have lived here all of my life, except for a year spent in Missouri when I was five years old. You could say I’m a true local.
After highschool graduation,I received my associates degree in Business Administration. I had planned to be a fashion buyer focusing on the jewelry industry. As a young girl, I had hoped to be a silversmith one day!
I started in the insurance industry working for a third party worker’s compensation insurance company as a claims processor. However, I was looking for work closer to home, and I was recommended by a family friend to an independent agency. I obtained my insurance licenses at that time. A brief hiatus from personal lines insurance led me to annuity and mutual fund back office management for a local bank. Once my daughter was born, I returned to agency work and this is my 24th year working for a Nationwide Insurance agency which has recently become an independent agency!
It is no secret that I like to talk! I like to talk to people about their life experiences to help them make decisions about their insurance needs. I think getting to know my customers and informing them about their coverage is my favorite part of my job.
I really enjoy spending time with my husband, friends and family. We love family game nights and outdoor movie nights including a nice, big bonfire. My favorite way to spend a weekend or time off is a sporadic road trip with my husband. My daughter is an assisted program teacher at Shady Hollow Farm. We enjoy helping them prepare and host their fundraisers, parties and events to support the farm and their fabulous programs.
MoreI grew up in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania surrounded by the Amish Community. Before working in the insurance industry, I attended nursing school and joined the army. Unfortunately, I was medically discharged before I even started boot camp due to my knee issues. So, I started as a receptionist in an agency and fell in love with insurance (I am a huge insurance nerd). I obtained my license in 2010, CISR designation in 2013 and CIC designation in 2018. I understand that most people don’t have the time to learn all the ins & outs of all things insurance, but that’s where I come in! I enjoy educating people on coverages and finding exposures they didn’t know they had.
My greatest joy in life is my four year old daughter, Finley. She is so smart and funny! She makes me strive to be a better person in all aspects of life. My guilty pleasure would have to be old musicals and movies. My favorites are anything with Frank Sinatra or Doris Day!

I have over 20 years of experience in personal lines insurance and have obtained the following insurance designations: AINS (Associate in General Insurance), INS (Associate in Insurance Services), and API (Associate in Personal Insurance). I enjoy reviewing coverage options with customers so they can make a decision which will provide them with additional protection, peace of mind and hopefully save them money as well.
I have been happily married for almost 25 years and my wife and I both love summer weekends at the beach! We also enjoy going to Happy Valley for the Penn State white-out game every year. For vacations, my family loves to spend our summer weekends at the Jersey Shore and enjoy our Saturdays watching Penn State games and watching Eagles games on Sundays. We are huge sports fans! My wife and I volunteer for One by One Cat Rescue which is a no-kill shelter that helps cats find loving homes.
I’ve lived in Lancaster County my entire life, attending Manheim Township and Millersville. I live in Lititz now with my wife and three children. I’ve been a licensed agent for almost 15 years, focusing mainly on auto, property, and life insurance. What I love most about my job is being able to find a unique solution for each person and make sure they are covered the right way!
Some fun facts about me: I’m a sports fanatic – especially the Phillies and Eagles. I saw the Phillies win the World Series in person in 2008 – an experience I will never forget! I love watching Impractical Jokers with my wife – it’s a fun way to unwind at the end of the day.
When I’m not at work, you can usually find me at home spending time with my family.
MoreI grew up in Bangor, Pennsylvania on my family’s dairy and crop farm. After graduating High School I attended Delaware Valley College to major in Dairy Science to further my knowledge in the farming industry and dairy cows. Following early graduation, with a Bachelor’s degree, I returned to my home farm to work full time milking 100 dairy cows and farming 1200 acres of crops.
I am very new to the insurance industry and am very excited to expand my experience. I look forward to learning how to help farmers and other people with their insurance needs. Since I have grown up in the farming community I am extremely familiar with how a farm business is run and how to work with farmers. I am very excited to work alongside farmers and make sure they have accurate insurance for their businesses.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children, family, and my friends, as they are the most important aspects of my life. I have always been an active outdoor person, enjoying hunting, fishing, gardening, snowmobiling, playing softball, tennis, and going to local fairs. I spend most of my free time with my children and husband, either doing our own fix-it-up projects to our home or in the tractor doing fieldwork on the farm.
MoreLike most, I found myself in the insurance field early by accident. Starting at CNA Insurance in quality verification instilled my foundation for accuracy. I was fortunate to grow in personal lines with positions in auto rating and personal lines underwriting. In continuing my growth, I moved to the independent agency side. I worked in Montgomery County and Philadelphia agencies, where I attained my agent’s and brokers’ licenses in property, casualty, life, and health. I added commercial lines to my experience. Due to my continued eagerness to increase my insurance knowledge, I achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designations.
I have worked at many different size agencies, from small family businesses to large corporations. I have worked providing sales and service to personal lines and commercial lines clients, programs for contractors, and assisting farm families with their insurance needs. What I love most about insurance is helping people and building relationships, and I enjoy finding solutions and doing all I can to care for insurance needs.
I am a city girl from Reading, PA. I attended 12 years of catholic school, graduating from Central Catholic. I appreciate my parents’ sacrifice to give me a faith-based education instilling strong values. I now reside in Wernersville, PA, and enjoy seeing the stars at night instead of city lights. Every year I enjoy going with my two adult children to my happy place Corolla in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and day trips to Cape May, New Jersey, numerous times a year. I feel the beach rejuvenates the soul.
MoreI was born in Lancaster, PA, however, I have been in living in Pine Grove, PA for the past 10 years, and consider this where I grew up with the most memories!
I have been an insurance agent for about a year and plan to grow and do big things within this industry. Insurance is where I am meant to be! The best thing about my job is getting to meet/talk to new people every day – I know I have the ability to get you coverage to protect you and your family.
Being outside with my two boys means the world to me. Even on the bad days, we are outside under the porch or in the garage hanging out! They are my world. I love to be out riding my side by side and rock crawling our jeep! You cannot get me inside during the warmer months. If I am not at work I am either out walking or at our camp in Pine Creek. You won’t catch me at home!
MoreI grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Eastern Ontario owned by my family. When I was 20, I moved from the middle of nowhere to Toronto to pursue a career as a Deaf/Blind Intervenor.
I’ve been with David Heiser Insurance for 2 years prior to merging with the Kathy Barry Agency, and have found my career. I am still learning, but embrace every opportunity to do so. I love helping people. If I can make someone’s day a little better by handling a claim well or by helping them understand their policy better – it’s a really good day.
My passion is to cycle through dinosaurs, zombie apocalypse prep, technology, insurance law, and horror movies. You’re in for an earful if you ask about any of those subjects! My guilty pleasure is Cooking and baking! My Mom, aunts and grandmothers have taught me well. When not working you will find me at a local pub with my husband or on a trip to Canada to visit family.
I graduated from Spring-Ford Area School District in 1994 and then shortly after that moved to the Boyertown area to start a family. I have lived in the Boyertown area for over 25 years and have served on the Park & Recreation Board. I started my experience industry over 10 years ago. Starting at a part-time position that quickly moved to a full-time position after receiving my P&C license within 6 months. I feel excited every day I come into the office! That gives me another day to help customers and potential customers understand the insurance industry.
While working and being a full time mom I still made time to go back to college to pursue my education. I participated in the accelerated degree program at Albright College graduating in 2016 with my Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, but here I am, still in the insurance industry and loving every minute of it! Now I enjoy my time in the garden and with my family and friends!

My guilty pleasure is coffee. I may have a slight addiction to it. I could drink it from morning till night. Yes, I still sleep. I think I got it from my Dad as he is the same way.

I grew up in Landenberg, PA, very close to Hill’s Auction. I was active in the Gum Tree 4-H Club, played field hockey for Saint Mark’s High School, and rode horses at Grazing Acres Farm at Lincoln University.
I am brand new to the insurance industry! I was an Ag Teacher of an Animal Science Program for 10 years, and I felt a profound need to get back into the agriculture community on a daily basis. I’m excited to work hard for the hardest working people out there! To me, insurance is like agriculture, as well. Both are some of the most important industries, and they both take a village to make it all work.
I’m excited to be a part of that village in a way that gives the hardest-working people the peace of mind that they have someone they can trust in their corner when it all goes sideways.
I really enjoy life! I am blessed with a wonderful husband, son, two dogs, and a horse. It all keeps me very busy, but I love every minute. My horse and I compete in eventing, and I love the challenge of goal setting, the training program, and competition. I also love Disney movies, and thankfully, my son is old enough now that I don’t have to feel so weird about knowing all the songs’ words!
When I am not working, I am usually at the barn working with my horse or prepping for competition. If I am not there, I’m usually at home trying to make the house look like someone cleans or with family, relaxing a little!
