Liz Harrison
Associate Producer
I’m Liz Harrison, an Associate Producer with the Kathy Barry Agency, specializing in farm insurance and agricultural risk management for farmers, rural families, and agribusinesses. I grew up in Landenberg, Pennsylvania, and I’m now based in Newark, Delaware, serving clients across Delaware, southeastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Career & Technical Education from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree in Education from Cabrini University. Before joining the insurance industry, I spent 10 years as an agriculture teacher, giving me firsthand insight into farming operations, livestock management, and the unique risks agricultural families face. I’m currently in my third year as an insurance agent, specializing in farm insurance, while also assisting with personal auto, homeowners, and commercial insurance.
As a Nationwide Farm Certified Agent licensed in DE, PA, MD, and VA, I enjoy meeting clients on-site, learning about their operations, and designing coverage solutions that truly fit their needs. The teacher in me loves answering questions and making sure clients fully understand their policies.
Outside of work, I stay active, attend my son’s soccer games, volunteer in equestrian sports, and spend time with my husband, son, two dogs, and retired event horse. I’m also an active member of the Delaware Farm Bureau, working with the Young Farmers & Ranchers (YF&R) and Promotion & Education (P&E) committees, and I volunteer each year at the Maryland 5-Star Event, helping with the Young Event Horse Championship.
