Cindy Kish

I’m Cindy Kish, an Associate Agent with The Kathy Barry Agency LLC, and I bring decades of experience and deep industry roots to the clients I serve. I grew up in North Whitehall Township in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Parkland High School, giving me strong ties to the local community I’ve served for much of my career.

Before transitioning into insurance, I spent 15 years in Corporate America working for a local chemical manufacturer. I later made a meaningful shift into the insurance industry, following in the footsteps of my father, who owned and operated Henry H. Shoemaker Insurance Agency, Inc. I began working in insurance in 1995, writing all types of personal and commercial insurance, and I’ve been committed to protecting clients’ assets ever since.

I hold both the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) designations and have maintained them for over 20 years, reflecting my ongoing commitment to professional excellence and continued education. I enjoy getting to know my clients personally and making sure their homes, businesses, and assets are properly protected, whether personal or commercial.

What I enjoy most about my work is building long-term relationships and delivering dependable service clients can trust. Having spent most of my life working in this community, I value the opportunity to provide thoughtful guidance and consistent support year after year.

Outside of work, I’m married and enjoy spending my free time boating on the Chesapeake Bay from March through October, making the most of the time outdoors whenever possible.
