Coping with Cancer: We Need Your Support!

Did you know that in 2021 alone, there have been approximately 85,440 new cases of cancer in Pennsylvania? Or that there have been at least 27,000 deaths caused by cancer since the year began? These staggering statistics are just a slight look into the toll that this almost unforgiving disease can take.

At the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley (CSCGLV), they have made it their mission to “help people affected by cancer – survivors, caregivers, friends and family – regain control of their lives, reduce stress and isolation, and restore a sense of hope for a better quality of life regardless of the stage of the disease or the type of cancer.” For the past 37 years, CSCGLV has been helping people and their loved ones cope with cancer through their many different programs such as “support groups, stress-management sessions, educational programs, exercise sessions, nutrition workshops, and social events.”
