Would you buy a lemonade from a little who’s fundraising money for her battle against cancer? I bet you’d ask for five. Alex was just four years old and battling neuroblastoma when she was able to raise $2,000 by putting up a lemonade stand on her front yard. She not only raised the money but asked to donate it to help other children battling cancer. That is how Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation was born.
Every day, about 700 children worldwide are diagnosed with cancer. Yet, childhood cancer research receives less than 4-percent of the National Cancer Institue’s annual budget. It is up to us to fund research and help all these children out.
ALSF’s mission is to change the lives of children suffering from cancer by funding impactful research, raising awareness, and supporting families. Our team here at the Kathy Barry Agency sincerely believes that innocent children should not miss out on an awesome life because of this terrible disease.
So, we’re now advocating and directing monetary rewards to this very cause. We hope to build smiles and relieve some of the burden carried by many local families – and you can help. When you recommend someone to us for a quote, we offer to donate $10 on your behalf! So, how many names can you give us? How many kids can you help?
